Annapurna Nar Phu Valley Trek Details Information


AnnapurnaNar Phu Valley is a newly designed route. The first person to hike over here is till man. It was done in 1950 AD. In 2003 AD Government of Nepal made this route official in Nepal. It is catching its strength till now. It will last for a long time. It is combined trekking route of Annapurna round trek. It is also known as high land trekking. Our main attractions of Annapurna Nar Phu Valley are the ancient village of unique tradition & culture. We will have a panoramic view of golden dawn snow-capped mountains ranges.
We start our Annapurna Nar Phu valley  Trek from Besisahar. We may have a problem to walk on narrow Humpty dumpty trial. Walking continuously for many days, it will be habitual walking for us. Our every step leads us to high altitude. Taking care of temperature by our self we accumulate in a different place. It will be according to trekking experts. Settling in many villages we have interaction with local people. We have an opportunity in knowing local tradition & culture of them. Finishing our destination, we end our trek at Jomsom. We will be back to Pokhara with early morning mountain flight. Our flight will offer us panoramic views of Annapurna mountain ranges. It will be so much impressive in our flight. It is also one of the themes of our trek. This will give good finishing in our Trekking in Nepal.

Day To Day Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
On landing your flight on TIA Nepal, there will be a warm welcome for you. Our representative of Everest Trekking Routes will be waiting for your arrival. You will be shifted to a place of accommodation. With a rest of some time, a brief description of the upcoming program is done with your guide.
Day 02: Kathmandu exploration and preparation for the trek.
The first day of Nepal tour starts with sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Having our breakfast we move to Pashupatinath. It is the most known holiest temple of Lord Shiva. Spending a little time we move to Bauddhanath (Little Tibet). Our next destination is Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Visiting all this we will move to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square, the final destination. Lastly, we will be back to our hotel and make preparation for the next program.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Besishahar (830m) – 7 Hours
Our first destination is Besisahar. We will have the drive to Besisahar. From flight also we can reach our destination. Our all management of lunch program is done in the highway. Driving through Prithivi Highway for about 7 hours we will be in Besisahar. In our leisure time, we will we walk around the valley.
Day 04: Besishahar to Bahundanda (1310m) – 5 Hours
From Besi Sahar, our walking trek starts. Bahundanda is our first destination. Up to Bhulbhule, we can take a drive. The trial of Marshyangdi River is our main walking track. The magic moments of trekking can be observed in our walk. Walking around 5 to 6 hours, we will be in Bahundanda to spend our night.
Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1400m) – 5 Hours
Our today’s journey leads us to Chamje. Continuing main trial of Marshyangdi River, we will be the forested area. First glimpses of Annapurna Himal, Lamjung Himal with other mountain ranges will be so much impressive. Interesting traditional & cultural villages are also included. In this way, we will be at Chamje.
Day 06: Chamje to Dharapani (1920m) – 5 Hours
Now our walking track is quite difficult. The track goes straightly upward. It may create difficulty in our walk. It will be habitual, as it is our daily routine. Our way goes down to the river as we cross a suspension bridge. Continuing our trial of Tal we will reach Dharapani 1920 m to spend our night.
Day 07: Dharapani to Koto (2600m) – 6 Hours
Koto is our next destination. Walking up & down the hill we will reach koto. We will be walking through the path of a forest full of oak & pine. In our walk, we will be gifted with fine views of spectacular mountain ranges. We can have an interaction with the local people. They can provide us with information about local culture & tradition of local people.
Day 08: Koto to Dharmasala (3230m) – 7 Hours
Waking up early morning in a cool environment, we will have our breakfast and walk to Dharmasala. Panoramic view of mountains sparkling in rising sun, during our walk will be so much impressive. Today our walking times goes longer. As we need to face some difficulty in walking. Till we reach Dharmasala, Pilgrims & Small caves can be observed.
Day 09: Dharmasala to Kayang (3740m) – 6 Hours
Having our breakfast, we will be ready for the walk to Kayang. We need to walk down a difficult path. We will walk fully steep hill to pastures land of Meta Kharka. It is non-permanent winter settlement of Nar valley. Some wildlife can be observed in the forest of Pine & oak. Continuing our difficult trial we will reach Kayang.
Day 10: Kayang to Phu Valley (4050m) – 6 Hours
From Kajang, our next destination is Puh valley. At first, we will be walking on the bank of the river. Following the main track of the road, we will continue our walk to reach Puh valley. Later on, we walk in the forest of rhododendron. Walking in this land will be so much impressive. This will leads us to the beautiful village of Phu Valley.
Day 11: Phu Valley to Junam (3550m) – 5 Hours
Resuming our journey leads us to Junam. First of all, we will cross the end gate of Phu valley. From here we will trek to Junum. Passing through Junam Khola, we walk to Junam village. We will be surrounded by the beauty of nature from all side. Like this, we certainly reach Janum. Here we will spend our memorable night.
Day 12: Junam to Nar Village (4150m) – 5 Hours
Today our destination is Nar village. We will be so much impressed viewing the panoramic view of all the surrounding area and giant mountain ranges during our walk. By viewing the locality, we will be so much happy. Our all tiredness is removed from our mind. In a fresh mind, we will walk continuously until we reach Nar village.
Day 13: Nar Village to Ngwal (3675m) cross Kang La Pass (5315m) – 6 Hours
Spending a memorable night at Nar Village we continue to Ngwal. We will start in early time as we need to walk a long distance. We will be walking through the very famous track of Annapurna region i.e. Kang La pass. But it is a bit of difficulty. The track may be fully covered with snow. In this way, we will reach Ngwal to spend our night.
Day 14: Ngwal to Manang (3550m) – 7 Hours
Early morning we will have our breakfast and walk to the beautiful land of Manang. Our trek will be full of joy viewing spectacular view of Tilicho Lake. We can observe the beautiful Annapurna region. Many charters & Mani walls of Buddhist people can also be explored in villages of our track. Lastly, we will reach Manang to spend our night.
Day 15: Manang to Ledar (4250m) towards Thorong La Pass – 6 Hours
Leder is our today’s destination. Walking through the main track of Yak Kharka, we will reach our destination. We can see local people using this land as pasture land. Many beautiful things in our surrounding can be observed. Continuously walking for about 4 to 5 hours we will reach Leder to spend our night at tented camp.
Day 16: Ledar to Thorong High Camp (4800m) – 5 Hours
From Leder village, we hike toward Thorong high camp. The snowy path is our main walking track to reach High Camp. It creates difficulty during our walk. From the height, we can see the beautiful valley all around us. Spending our time will be so much interesting. Reaching our destination we will set our camp for our night.
Day 17: Thorong High Camp to Muktinath (3800m)
Today is also the main day of our trek. We are heading to Muktinath. It is a holy pilgrimage of Hindu & Buddhist people. Walking in the dry land we will be blown with cool air. It will refresh our mind in our walk. Walking on storm trial may be difficult. Walking on the land of fully covered with sand we reach Muktinath to spend our night.
Day 18: Muktinath to Jomsom (2713m) – 5 Hours
From Muktinath, our journey leads us to Jomsom. It is the ending point of our trek. It will be full of joy viewing a beautiful glimpse of giant mountain ranges. It will be so much easy walking on flat & downhill trial. Reaching on Jomsom we will make confirmation of our tomorrow’s flight to Pokhara. Finishing it we will rest remaining time.
Day 19: Jomsom to Pokhara
Having early morning mountain flight to Pokhara, we can feel as if we are flying in heaven. It will be about 1 Hr. we will be flying above beautiful giant ranges of mountains. Reaching on Pokhara we walk to Lakeside. Here we can watch charming sunset views. Lastly we will return back, have our dinner & enjoy.
Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Now we will return back to Kathmandu. Our returning track goes through the same highway. We will be pleased with the houses and greenery of the highway. Not only this, we can be back by flight also. In around seven hours we will be in Kathmandu. We will be shifted to our hotel which will end our trek.
Day 21: Farewell
Spending the last night at Kathmandu, we will be ready to return back to the homeland. The small farewell program is organized for your team. Management of returning back and departure is made by our team. Hope you will be back to Nepal to visit the remaining side of beautiful Nepal.
